DGCA Drone Policy & Compliance

1. Commitment to Aerial Safety

My Invite Studio is committed to ensuring that all aerial media (drone photography and videography) showcased on our cinematic platform is captured in strict compliance with the regulations set forth by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA), Government of India.

2. Mandatory Pilot & Hardware Requirements

Users who upload aerial media to their invitations represent and warrant that all such media was captured using equipment and personnel meeting the following criteria:

  • UIN Registration: The Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) used was registered on the Digital Sky platform and possessed a valid Unique Identification Number (UIN).
  • Pilot Certification: The operator held a valid Remote Pilot Certificate (RPC) issued by a DGCA-authorized Remote Pilot Training Organization (RPTO).
  • Equipment Standards: For drones in the 'Small' category and above, the hardware was equipped with functional "No Permission-No Takeoff" (NPNT) modules or equivalent firmware.

3. Airspace Compliance & Geo-Fencing

Compliance with the Interactive Airspace Map is non-negotiable. All cinematic aerial shots must adhere to:

Green Zones

Operations in Green Zones (up to 400ft) are permitted without prior flight permission, provided all other certifications are in order.

Yellow/Red Zones

Any media captured within Yellow Zones (controlled airspace) or Red Zones (No-Fly Zones) must be accompanied by the relevant Ministry of Defence or Local Authority clearances.

4. Privacy & Ethical Capture

Beyond technical compliance, aerial media must respect the privacy of third parties. Media that captures individuals in private spaces without their express consent, or captures sensitive government installations, is strictly prohibited on the My Invite Studio platform.

5. Platform Moderation & Indemnity

Foundational Creations acts as a neutral hosting provider. However, we reserve the right to:

  • Request proof of UIN or Pilot Certificate if aerial content is flagged for safety concerns.
  • Immediately disable any invitation that features clearly illegal drone operations (e.g., flight over prohibited parade grounds or high-security venues).

The user agrees to indemnify and hold My Invite Studio harmless against any legal actions, fines, or penalties arising from the unauthorized capture of aerial media uploaded to the Service.
