DMCA Copyright Policy

Notice and Takedown Procedure

1. Overview

My Invite Studio respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement committed using the My Invite Studio service that are reported to our Designated Copyright Agent.

2. Filing a DMCA Notice

If you are a copyright owner, or are authorized to act on behalf of one, and you believe that material hosted on our platform infringes your copyrights, please submit a written notice ("DMCA Notice") containing the following information:

  • A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  • Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, along with information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material (e.g., the specific URL of the wedding website).
  • Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact the complaining party, such as an address, telephone number, and, if available, an electronic mail address.
  • A statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Please consult your legal counsel or see 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) to confirm these requirements. Sending a false or malicious DMCA Notice may result in severe legal consequences.

4. Counter-Notice Procedure

If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send our Designated Agent a written counter-notice containing:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the material that has been removed and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  • Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which the address is located.

5. Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA, we have adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, the accounts of users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We may also, at our sole discretion, limit access to the Service and/or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.
